We officially sunset our Dawn-based theme when Shopify released the Horizon 3.0 framework. Rather than continuing to maintain two architectures, we consolidated our work into a single upgraded theme that offers more flexibility, stronger accessibility alignment, and a cleaner development pathway. The foundation built on Dawn was a valuable starting point, but Horizon is where we now invest, evolve, and innovate.
Our enhanced Horizon theme retains the familiarity of Shopify’s structure while expanding its capabilities through improved components, stronger WCAG support, and more efficient section-level customization. For teams building new storefronts or modernizing an existing one, Horizon delivers a future-focused base designed to grow without additional rework or retrofitting.
